A few years ago, Ron Hier and I (Glendenning Cram) started to write the screenplay for the movie Ilium Ridge, updating Homer’s Iliad to the trenches of World War I. There were lots of similarities and, though both have been done multiple times on screen, they have never been combined. We worked on it for a while, writing an outline and some dialog, but then set it aside for other ventures. Sadly, Ron died last year, but it was too good a story to let go. So I pulled it out and updated it, adding dialogue and formatting it as a proper screenplay. And now it’s time to promote it so that this wonderful story finds its way to the screen. I for one would love to see this movie get made. I hope you do too!
